Muesli4Me Supports Breast Cancer Research

October is international breast cancer awareness month and here at Muesli4Me we want to support this worthy cause as much as we can. So we've decided to donate $2 from each order in the month of October towards breast cancer research. In addition we have added a pink ribbon button in the Something Specialsection of the order process. With this button you can donate $1. We hope you'll help us support this cause and you stack up on your muesli in October!
Here are some diet related tips that are said to help prevent breast cancer. It's not 100% and there are a lot of different factors involved, but research shows that these things make a difference:
  1. Eat more fruits (especially those with high levels of antioxidants such as goji berries, blueberries and whole grains).
  2. Eat carotenoid rich foods such as mango.
  3. Eat more fibre - this can be achieved in your muesli by adding ingredients such as whole grains (all our rolled grains are whole), psyllium husk and oat bran.
  4. Eat less fat, saturated fat, and animal fat. If you like your muesli with milk or yoghurt, you can eat it with low fat milk. If you want to eat it with no fat - try with juice. Our entire selection of dried fruit is low fat, so you can go wild with them!
  5. Emphasize variety in food choices. Don't eat the same thing all the time everyday - easy, you can be as creative as you like when designing your muesli mix!

We hope this helps and hope we raise a lot of money to help with the research!

A Warm Welcome to Oat Bran Straws

We couldn't resist these crunchy oat bran straws, so we had to add them to our product range. As you might know, oat bran is made from the ground husk of the grain. It contains the bulk of the dietary fibre of the grain, along with a large amount of useful minerals, omega, starch, protein and vitamins. A condensed straw of goodness!

If you would like to suggest an ingredient, we'd love to hear from you. Simply drop us an email suggestion@muesli4me.com.au

There are lots of exciting muesli mixes feeding into the monthly drawer and here it is what YOU made the ingredients of the month:
  • linseed
  • oat bran
  • dates
It looks like our muesli mixing loving crowd is getting ready for the summer shape. We have been seeing very healthy ingredients last month. On the top of the list are linseed.Linseed, also known as flaxseed, has a pleasant nutty flavour and is one of the most potent sources of omega 3 fatty acids found in nature, flaxseed lignans, and fibre content.

October breast cancer awareness month

October is international breast cancer awareness month and here at Muesli4Me we want to support this worthy cause as much as we can.  So we've decided to donate $2 from each order in the month of october towards breast cancer research.  We hope you'll help us support this cause and order your muesli from us!

We've found some diet related tips that are said to help prevent breast cancer.  It's not 100% and there are a lot of different factors involved, but research shows that these things make a difference.

1. Eat more fruits (especially ones with high levels of antioxidants such as goji berries, blueberries and whole grains.

2. Eat carotenoid rich foods such as mango.

I hope this helps and I hope we raise a lot of money to help with the research!
